Caleb University hosts education collaborative to strengthen institutional engagement

Caleb University, Lagos, on February 25, 2026, hosted a landmark “Education Collaborative” to deepen institutional partnerships, research collaboration and academic innovation within the higher education sector. The initiative tagged: “Open House Day,” was put together to highlight the benefits of Caleb University membership for faculty and staff of the institution. It also presented members of the university community with opportunities for active engagement in Communities of Practice (CoPs), Innovation Grants, Research collaborations, and Mentorship programmes. In his remark, the University Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olalekan Asikhia, commended the organisers for putting together the programme On his part, the Guest Speaker, Prof. Isaac Akinwunmi, a member of the Education Collaborative Technical Committee, West Africa Hub, listed the benefits of the initiative. These, according to him, include higher-level thinking skills, social and interpersonal skills, exposure to diverse perspectives, preparation for real life and student-faculty interactions, among others.
